Restrooms in public buildings and parks

Restrooms are open to the public in a number of Town buildings such as Town Hall, the Public Service Building (Police department headquarters), the Senior Center and the libraries (Main, Coolidge Corner, and Putterham). In addition, restrooms are available in buildings that offer recreational programs. These include the Kirrane Swimming Pool, the Tappan Gym at Brookline High School, the Lynch Golf Course at Putterham Meadows, and the Kirrane Ice rink in Lars Anderson Park. The Public Service Building (Police Department) is open 24 hours a day. Town Hall and the libraries are open on a more limited basis.

Five Brookline parks currently offer restrooms. They are Amory playground, Lars Anderson playground, Harry Downes Field, Waldstein Playground in Dean Park, and Skyline Park. The restrooms in parks are open during daytime hours from spring to fall.

The buildings and parks with restrooms are distributed throughout the Town. We have provided a map showing the location of restrooms in parks and some of the recreation facilities. Click on the balloons for detailed information about location, seasons, and hours.
